If you have a choice, use someone else. If I could give zero stars I would. I moved into a new home and found out the propane tank was "leased". I called this company in November and they charged me back rent to January and then told me Id have to pay again next January (2 months away). On top of that, they said I'd have to pay a "safety check fee". Since I had to pay back rent for a year and its their obligation to maintain the unit during rental periods, shouldn't safety be their responsibility. Not according to them. Oh yeah, they also say that they offer new customers discounts. Well, I am a new customer and they wont give me a discount. Weird how they say one thing and do another. I asked about them coming to get the tank so I wouldn't have to deal with them and they said they "would put that on the back burner because picking up tanks is not a priority to them." However, they were willing to come out in 24 hours for the "safety check" and filling the tank since that meant cash in their pocket. They also said, "well, if we pick up the tank, it is going to leave a big hole and lots of landscaping damage." Thanks for the threat. If you are in the market for a propane tank, I highly recommend going with another company. Otherwise, in my opinion, you could be subject to these same tactics.
